Last Saturday we went to the highland games in Ventura. Since it was his first time to see highland games, Ezra decided to don the kilt his mom made for him.

Ashely: I LOVE the matching flashes! That’s just the coolest thing, EVER. I think you may have to make him a new one before the next games roles around, though…

Babies, awesome. Kilts, awesome. Baby IN a kilt? That is probably the greatest thing I have ever seen. Well done.

I love the kilt. Sorry we haven’t talked in a while. I enjoy reading your blogs. Glad to hear that parental life is going well. We had Ellie’s two-month visit today. She was so brave getting her vaccinations. Didn’t even cry, just a little fussy. She’s in the 90th percentiles for weight and height. We think she’s gonna be tall like dad.

What can I say - I love to see men in tartan : ) I didn’t see any tartan when I was in Ventura - if only I’d know where to look. xxx
