We’re home, whatever that means

We’ve arrived safely back from touring Holland with my parents and a lovely weekend in London visiting the Strains. Things are hot here in Edinburgh and suitably hectic as my to-do list continues to grow.

Amsterdam was lovely and we decided we’d love to go back; it’s a great city full of charm and a place (like any) that desperately needs Jesus. We rode bikes; ate cheese; saw some great Dutch art and the highlight for everyone but me was watching me fall into a canal.

Yes, you heard it correctly. I fell into a canal.

More to follow now that your curiosity is definitely piqued. :)

Mr T laugh and laughs and laughs, as it is only funny when it happens to others, not to Mr T.

Sounds like you upstaged John’s shopping basket performance. I’m just sorry to have missed that good of a laugh! I am presuming you were not hurt? Sally

Ash, sounds like you have been christened Amsterdam style… Did you do any swiming??? Or stick with the basic crawl – as in try to crawl out of the canal as quickly as possible… Enjoy the last days of your time in Scotland. What a wonderful time it has been filled with many an adventure, lots of new friends, and awesome God moments!!! Hope to see you on your return to SoCal…
    Love,
    Pattie
