Right Back Where We Started From…
California, Here we come, right back where we started from…
So, we signed a lease this afternoon for the Madison Ave. place. It’s about 300 yards from the last place we lived in Pasadena, on the same block, on the other side of the street. Funny. I’m sure Ash will update with pictures and details shortly, but I’m too tired after another non-stop day of spending money.
We also got a car. Or committed to buy a car anyway. It’s a 1995 Jetta. It’s sweet. We’re gonna get it on Wednesday.
That’s all I’ve got for now.

Well done you too, all that and Bryce got a haircut yesterday? Excellent. Please do send along pics of the new place and address etc. David is just rushing about and will be leaving for Cambridge momentarily. Everyone keeps leaving me…

That’s great news guys. I look forward to seeing the photo’s of your appartement. perhaps you could give a description of your area and where it lies in realation to your work, LA etc.

Hi glad you both crossed the pond safely and things seem to be coming together so well for you. Good luck to Bryce on Tuesday and to Ashley for your start. The flowers you sent to Neyir are beautiful. She is doing great and I’m on hand till her Mom makes it over tomorrow. Looking forward to future posts. Take care. Jo

Oh geez! cell phones, apartments, car payments - you are making me glad to be in Scotland where I don’t have to worry about all that. Hope everything goes off without a hitch and you feel settled in very soon…just in time to start your new job! Great to hear that you are doing well. Miss you here.
