Movies
Questions of the day:
Why do you watch movies (relax, food for thought, nothing better to do, etc)? What is a favourite movie you’ve watched lately? (I ask these because we’ve watched two movies in a week, which is quite a lot for me, *and* I’ve suggested we watch ‘em; so obviously my own opinion on movies is changing - at least practically).

I watch movies usually to relax or laugh, or to spend time with my husband since I know he likes them so much!
A favorite movie(s) I’ve watched lately: Ocean’s Eleven (the new one), Toy Story 2.

My answer is pretty much the same as Katie’s.
Sometimes I actually watch movies to cry (Shadowlands is usually my movie of choice in those situations).
A favourite movie I’ve watched recently (for the purpose of cuddling with my hubby): Sense and Sensibility.

We just saw ‘Lost in Translation’ last night; what are everyone’s thoughts on that one?

Lost in Translation was probably one of my favourite movies I’ve seen in the past year. The exploration of Adultery, and what constitutes it was fascinating. I get more to think about each time I see it. I could also strongly relate with the “loss of place” feeling that the main characters experience.

See, I thought it was interesting but didn’t think it merited all the hype; maybe I should see it again and then decide.
