This is probably the most stressful time of your life – babies & toddlers, even without all the other stresses, disrupt a marriage. When Sarah and Anna were little it was the most difficult time for us. Hang in there – it will get better. Think of all the sermon stories you’re accumulating .

I’m glad you post that there are dark moments. I find that many younger couples (and older) struggle thinking they are alone in having trials and difficulties in their marriages. I think some of this aloneness comes from others giving a false impression of marriage. I believe that if one is going to pastor it is just as well to have enough trials to enable you to have empathy with those you counsel. Happiest of Anniversaries in this very transition filled year.
